Salamander in our office

Would you believe that we found a salamander in our office today? He was covered in cobwebs and dust, so Derek picked him up and put him in a bucket to take him outside where we washed him off and set him free.

Wednesday morning flowers

What a way to start a Wednesday morning. I went into my office and found these beautiful roses waiting for me. Gloria, my mother-in-law, cut them from her yard. Since she is gone for the next week or so, she decided to let the office enjoy them, which is pretty nice of her.

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July. Cole was in a neighborhood bike parade and then we went to the pool for fun and games. Cole also got to sit in the front seat of a fire truck and ring the bell, how cool is that? I know there are a lot of pictures today, but who cares? They are all fun! Enjoy

Cole's new book

Cole is involved with various summer reading programs. Here he is with the new book he earned from Barnes and Noble. It is a book that he has been wanting for a while, The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan.

Fathers Day

I know this is a little late, but here is what we did for Father's Day. Lyle decided that he wanted to go to Dave and Busters in Denver. We had a great time spending the afternoon eating and playing games.
