Lowe's build and grow-yard mobile

This weekend we went to Lowe's and Cole participated in their build and grow program. He just loves to build new things, and on Saturday he built a yard mobile.

Cole's singing a song he learned in school

Cole learned this song at school and I just love it.

Roughly translated it means:

Who can sail without wind? Who can row without oars? Who can part with a friend without a falling tear?

I can sail without wind. I can row without oars. But I will never be able to part with a friend without a failling tear.

Morning Snuggle

Cole was playing with Starlight this morning and I just had to get a photo. Cole was supposed to be getting ready for school, but he has his priorities and that is snuggling his buddy.

Back to School After Spring Break

Cole returned to school on Monday, and boy were we ready!

The Play Station 2 has finally arrived!!

Cole has been waiting and waiting for his Play Station 2 to come in. It finally came in on Friday. He was so excited, we decided to Guitar Hero. We ended up playing for hours!

perfect ending to the perfect day at Legoland

A few weeks ago we went to Legoland in CA. Cole was so excited, it was all he could talk about for months. Towards the end of the day we were walking around, enjoying all the Lego creation and Cole started calling Mom, Mom, MOM. I turned around and there he was, with a bird turd on his face. Like the good mom I am, I doubled over in laughter. Once I was able to breathe again and wiped the tears from my eyes, I just had to take a picture. All he wanted to do was get cleaned up and go the the Big Shop. Which we did, after.

Moral of the story: Don't look forward to exciting events, you will always get shit on.

Or, even after the best of days you will still get shit on.

Wolf Skit

Tonight at the Cub Scout pack meeting Cole's den did the skit. So, we did a skit about the bravest scout. It was very cute! Cole is the 2nd monster, the Hydrusa (half Hydra, half Medusa).

Here is a picture of Cole as the Hydrusa, very scary! He invented the monster and designed the paper bag mask.
